PaNorAmA 32D 24 August 88
Disk two from the August 1988 Programmer's Meeting. This is a duplicate
of Fred Fish disk #140 and contains a Prolog compiler/interpreter.
Disk Contents:
SBProlog_v2.3.2:
SB-Prolog is a public-domain Prolog system for Unix(tm) based
systems originally developed at SUNY, Stony Brook. It provides an
advanced logic programming environment on the Amiga, adequate for
experimentation in the areas of artificial intelligence and fifth
generation systems. Needs more than 512K memory to run sucessfully.
When running the naive-reverse benchmark, the SB-Prolog interpreter
runs at over 1000 LIPS (logical interences per second). The
compiler can produce code that can be executed at over 3600 LIPS.
Before you can use this disk, you need to copy the contents of the
SBProlog directory to the root directory of a freshly formatted
work disk. To do this, execute the following CLI commands,
assuming you have this disk in df0, and a blank disk in df1:
format drive df1: name SBP2.3.2
copy AmigaLibDisk140:SBProlog to SBP2.3.2: all
Now follow the instructions in the file SBP2.3.2:README.
Authors: ported by David Roch and Scott Evernden.

Special thanks to Charlie Gibbs and Larry Phillips. Without Charlie we
wouldn't be able to copy two disks at these meeting, and Larry supplies
the material for at least one disk each month - sometimes for both.
